SELECT BOOKS was established in 1986 and deals in rare, out of print and new books on a wide range of subjects relating to Southern Africa.
Categories held include: Afrikaans literature, Archaeology, Architecture, Art, Botany, Bushmen & Rock Art, Cape Town, Cricket, Eastern Cape, English Settlers, Explorers, Fishing, Furniture, Genealogy, Hunting, Literature, Military History, Mining & Geology, Namibia (South West Africa), Natal & Zululand, Ornithology, Political Biography, Rugby (books & programmes), Signed & Inscribed books, the South African War, 1899-1902 (Anglo-Boer War), South African fiction, Transvaal, Travel, Trees, Van Riebeeck Society publications, Western Cape, Wild life, Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) and Zoology.

We will search for books relating to southern Africa and maintain an active "wants" list. A full mail service is offered, via air or surface mail. Books are securely packaged and can be insured. Select Books is a founder member of the Southern African Book Dealers Association (SABDA). We are VAT registered.
