WILD LIFE ACROSS THE WORLD

Kearton, Cherry

Description:

Over 100 photographs on full page black-and-white plates. Pages i-xxvii; 1-286. Photograph plates not included in the numbering. Ex library copy, rebound in 1934 and again recently with new endpapers. Battered green cloth-covered boards, mended (1934). Gilt embossed lion's head medallion on front cover, original gold title re-used on spine. Book condition very good except for some occasional foxing. Introduction by President Theodore Roosevelt. Mr Keaton visited Borneo, Africa, India and North America to photograph wild animals. A remarkable saga of scientific adventure.
