Description:
The sub-title in full: "..or Women's War Experiences written by themselves 1899-1902." Original mottled grey and blue cloth boards with black titling on the spine and the upper board. Light brown end papers, 158 pages, 3 tipped-in colour plates after watercolour sketches and 11 black and white photographic plates. CONDITION DETAILS: The overall impression is of a book in good condition, but there are several flaws: The end papers have browned, pen name on free front end paper, the margin of one page has some insect damage, one of the tipped in plates had some glue residue, etc.
