Photographic frontispiece portrait of the artist, 59 plates of the artist’s work – 6 coloured, 2 folding, plate 60 is ‘An informal study of Tretchikoff in his studio, showing his characteristic preference for the large canvas’ – photograph by John Adriaan, wiro bound with cream paper covered boards titled gilt on the upper cover – the spine a worn and discoloured, lacks the slip case.
Loosely inserted is the Souvenir Catalogue of the artist’s exhibition at Stuttafords Galleries, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, prior to the national tour of U.S.A. and Canada. (1952).
