A series of lectures delivered by this eminent psychologist, during his tenure in the chair of philosophy at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Much of the material relates to Eastern & Western belief systems, alchemistic philosophy, astrology and sociology. These lectures were transcribed by Barbara Hannah and were multigraphed for private circulation only - thus an important forerunner to Jung's 1944 work "Psychology and Alchemy". 129 + 157 + 166 + 142 pp in marbled boards. Very good condition throughout, but numerous marginalia and notes on endpapers by previous owner, whose bookplates are on prelims.
