De Luxe navy leather-bound edition of the life of Sir Roy Welensky, the second and last prime minister of the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland. A fervent admirer of Britain and the Empire, Welensky described himself as "half Jewish, half Afrikaner [and] 100% British". This is copy number 115 of 200 signed by both Welensky and the author, in fine condition (tissue guard opp. title-page is browned) with matching leather slip-case and box. An outstanding collector's copy.
