xx plus 292pp. Blind embossed cloth hardcover. Fifteen illustrations. Untrimmed text-block.

Some \'coffee-mug\' stains to cover. Heavily faded spine. Light foxing to prelims with further light foxing to some of the internal pages. Binding is very good with no cracking to EPs. Bookseller\'s label pasted to inside front EP. Personal name penned to front free EP.

The book has twenty four chapters on trout fishing of which the last eight are exclusively about trout fishing in South Africa. There are however some further anecdotes about fishing in South Africa in a few of the earlier (British)chapters, one of which recalls Cecil John Rhodes\' sister\'s regular fishing escapades from a dingy in Kalk Bay.

Spot the mistake on my second last photograph.

Scarce.
