Original blue cloth boards with gilt titling and decorations on the upper board. The book is clearly dated 1894, twice, but the upper board has the date as 1893. Pink end papers. viii prelims, 10 unpaginated letters, 56 pages of memoir, and 190 monochrome cartoons, not paginated. CONDITION DETAILS: The binding does have a little wear and soiling but is is bright and attractive. The pink end papers have some wear and soiling. The foxing/spotting is restricted to a few first and last pages. A pen name occurs on three pages.
