Description:
The history of the Albany settlement in the Eastern Cape is recorded here in a reprint of the original 1871 edition. Dugmore recounts his experiences as a missionary at Mount Coke and Wesleyville during the Kaffir War of 1835. Book condition: very good pale red boards, end-papers spotted and browned, contents clean except for marginal foxing on pp 42-43. Dust-jacket condition: heavily browned jacket, with marks and scuffs especially on the rear panel, not price-clipped (10s.6d.net), chipped and creased top edge. Protected with Brodart plastic sleeve.
