This is a highly collectable set, complete, unmarked, undiscoloured and with few flaws, listed below.

The green cloth-boards have a light white stain to the upper left of the front cover of Vol I. The covers of both volumes are lightly bumped and scuffed at the extremities. Firm bindings and plain unmarked endpapers.

Vol I: xv + 288 pp of text with numerous monochrome illustrations in the text + tissue-protected colour frontispiece and 4 other inserted colour plates and 7 other inserted monochrome plates.

Vol II: The same except vii + 323 pp of illustrated text,no frontispiece tissue and 6 monochrome plates.

It specialises in historical and contemporary books on the Free State and Northern Karoo, and is also an active buyer and seller on commission in these and other fields.
