This is No.172 of 1000 copies, in 9 chapters covering the Zulu war from both sides, and containing 50 colour magic lantern slide reproductions, painted during the Zulu war. Also contains material from private collections, regimental archives and museums. 240pp. including index. Rare photographs of the Zulus, as well as battle grounds, and battle formations, including Isandhlwana, Rorke's Drift, Hlobane & Kambula, Gingihlovu, Ulundi, and personal accounts and diary notes of those involved. Book condition: very good condition, some spotting to page edges, minor bumps to corners, two small splits on spine edges, text and images very clean throughout, binding very good.
