The story of The 1st battalion, The Rhodesian Light Infantry, listing members who were killed in action as well as members who died on operations, 1st Feb.1961 to 18th Dec.1972. The RLI was formed when the government decided that there was an urgent need for a Regular European Infantry battalion in Southern Rhodesia due to the threat to internal security. Lt.Col.Salt was the one tasked with this job, and gave up command of the RAR to establish the RLI. 159pp. soft cover.
Condition: the contents of this volume are in good condition; the stitch-binding still holding well. The page edges are foxed, and the wrappers are lightly marked, with the usual slightly heavier wear at the spine ends. All in all, a well preserved copy.
