How it works

Register

'Mesembryanthemacae', to the layman appears to be a somewhat formidable name, but to the grower of cacti and succulent plants it is the name of a family of succulent plants indigenous to South Africa, consisting of a number of genera, the interest in which has increased to enormous proportions in this country, Europs, America and other parts of the world. They are to be found in almost every collection and include the well-known mimiery plants that are so popular.

Cultivation is comparatively easy and the author writes of them comprehensively and lucidly. Hardback with unclipped dustcover. xiv plus 88 pages text with sixty four photographs. Very clean copy.
