A complete reference book on South African coins.
All 673 pictures are in brilliant full colour from transparencies by Gerald Hoberman, one of the world's leading coin photographers.
There are three different arrangements:
1. 216 magnificent full-colour pictures all enlarged to 90mm of each coin of each denomination ever produced for circulation in South Africa, from the Burgers Pond, 1874 to the present time when the book was published. (arranged chronologically for easy reference.)
2. The above pictures, but life-sized, plus corresponding obverse or reverse. Each coin is accompanied by its technical data, as illustrated, making 432 full-colour pictures. This total series is also arranged chronologically.
3. 25 superlative 180mm full page full-colour pictures each heading up each coin denomination, from the farthing through to the Krugerrand.
This collectors edition is strictly limited to 1000 numbered copies(of which this is number 177). This particular copy has been signed by both authors.
Book condition: This book has been well preserved and is in excellent all round condition throughout! The dust-jacket has a protective mylar wrap-around.
The book is accompanied by the original promotional brochure and order form(loosely inserted).

Within South Africa (counter to counter) = R55 per 1kg parcel plus R5 per additional kg to be included in the parcel.
Approximate foreign postage = $25.00 SURFACE MAIL or $45 AIR MAIL per 1kg parcel plus half again per additional kg to be included in the parcel.
