The pale-blue card covers, black to the front, are sunned at the spine. Over part of the top three lines of the title is a light brown stain which is also visible on the verso. Next to the first line of the title are Bezuidenhout's initials. His signature and "1986" are on p i. Three lines are underlined on p 1 in pen and a few other words on pp 2 and 4. Two words are pencilled in the margin on p 11. No endpapers. The book's v + 64 pp of illustrated text are otherwise unmarked and undiscoloured.
