Description:
Folding concertina strip (1610 x 190 mm), incorporating 12 leaves, containing 41 illustrations, including a panorama of Johannesburg and other views with some of Pretoria, folds into red pebble grained cloth covers (140 x 190 mm) gilt, each hinge in the concertina has been strengthened with linen, the cloth covers are worn around the edges and are dull.
A stamp on the on rear paste-down endpaper states, 'Views from Negatives taken by D.H. Davies, Pritchard Street, Johannesburg.'
