Boards a bit rubbed, marked and bumped; backstrip slightly frayed at extremities; endpapers and outer leaves browned; sporadic foxing. Good. The unit's involvement in the Anglo-Boer War receives particularly good coverage, and is supported by some excellent maps and illustrations.
