2 volumes, 465 pages continuously paginated, colour frontispiece portrait of Gordon in volume 1 and a colour frontispiece in volume 2, 90 colour plates, 4 maps, green cloth, dust jacket torn at top of back of volume 1 with some loss, other tears to dust jackets of both volumes which have been simply repaired with cellotape, the dust jackets are now preseved in a Brodart protector, contents good.
