A collection of pictures that tell the story of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) from the earliest times to the granting of self-government in 1923. Numerous black-and-white photographs and facsimile illustrations, maps and diagrams. pp i-viii; 1-239. Maroon paper-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. The book is in Very Good condition. The dust jacket is illustrated with a painting by Thomas Baines. DG damaged by three broad scratches on the front and about ten scratches on the back cover, but is still presentable. Now in loose cellophane protective cover.
