Four booklets, issued separately.a) East Coker, 1940, bound in puce yellow paper covered stapled wrappers. 15pp. This copy somewhat browned and worn at edges, stapled, wraps have 50 mm split at bottom od spine fold; middling foxing to text pages and ownership on ep. b) Burnt Norton [Gallup A37], 1941, bound in dull plain greenish-blue stapled wrappers. 15pp. Staples rusted, otherwise good condition with ownership on front ep. c)The Dry Salvages, pale blue stiff stapled wrappers, faded severely, partially on front edges, back a little marked. 15pp. Otherwise good.d) Little Gidding, sewn mauve wrappers (the first state). 16pp. Fine copy, corners a little dog-eared, very little fading. Gathering these four separately issued pamphlets in the first printings is difficult, East Coker being the most elusive. One of the poet's most favoured works.
