This lot is being sold by the Friends of the Johannesburg Public Library to raise funds. Original red paper covered boards with black titling on the spine and the upper board. 18 prelims, 421 pages, profusely illustrated in black and white with 5 illustrations that fold out. CONDITION DETAILS: The upper board is detached. The binding is soiled. The free front end paper has a piece torn off - see image. Library sticker and stamp on the obverse of the upper board and a pen number written on the obverse of the title page. One of the fold out illustrations has a tear along a fold.
