Extremely scarce, definitive work on this Portuguese colony in Central Africa, between the lake and the Indian Ocean, with special emphasis on Northern Mozambique, the territory under the control of the Nyassa Company. This is the true first edition, with gilt crest on front cover, 295 pp with bw photographic plates and two folding maps in pocket at the back of the volume.
