This lot is being sold on behalf of the Friends of the Johannesburg Public Library to raise funds. Original brown leather bevelled boards with gilt decorations on the raised bands on the spine and a decorative gilt title on the upper board. Cream decorative end papers. 12 prelims followed by 100 full page black and white photographic images, each one on a separate page with its caption opposite CONDITION DETAILS: The spine is loose and extremely worn with loss of surface - see image. Library sticker on front paste down. Reference number on reverse of title page. Ownership stamp on second free front end paper. Otherwise, a good copy worth restoring as all the images are clean.
