Description:

Photo album containing 84 bw photos, dealing mainly with Botha's campaign. It commences with (dis?)embarkation, then entrainment, and later progress of a motorised detachment across the desert, as well a some of a despatch-rider on a motorbike, a hospital and an aeroplane. A number of scenes of SWA: harbours, towns, captured troops in a camp etc. The last two leaves are snapshots taken on the voyage and the owner's return to the Cape, as well as two odd photos of tribesmen fishing in a river.
