Limited edition #755 of 775 numbered and signed copies, signed by the author on the front half-title, consisting of two parts and fourteen chapters, 24 plates and 15 text illustrations (all black and white), 299pp. Book condition: grey linen boards are showing extensive wear, and are marked and showing signs of rust/foxing; spine has been coloured black with felt pen, contrasting with grey colour of covers; marbled grey end-papers are in good condition with gum residue evidence of bookplate removal from front paste-down; preliminaries and title-page are heavily foxed, as are many of the pages throughout (ranging from moderate/no foxing to heavy foxing) as well as the uncut page edges. Binding condition is generally good but with the gatherings being loose/fragile in places.
