Pencilled inscription to front free EP. Light foxing to back of frontispiece. A small damp mark to top of some of the pages near the centre of the book. Top and bottom of spine is cracked and frayed, corners are bumped. Light gsm EPS are cracked on both F+B hinges. Internal bindings are tight. Text is clean throughout.

A record of explorations in Africa from the time of the Phoenicians to the death of Livingstone.
