Original blue cloth boards with title panel on the spine with gilt titling. Original dust jacket. Map motif decorated end papers. 444 pages, 345 maps, of which 11 are featured in full colour, mostly double page and some further black and white illustrations. CONDITION DETAILS: This copy is for use by a person who is not phased by condition. A liquid, possibly red wine, spilled and left edge stains. The most severe of these stains are pictured. The edge stain in the bulk of the book is light. The dust cover has a crease down the spine and has a bit of edge curl. Marks on the binding are not severe.
