Autobiography in three volumes:

KAROO MORNING, 1918-35, 267 pages, illustrations, brick red simulated cloth, dust jacket worn at the edges. Signed on the title page and with a note reading, ‘Dear Browns! As promised here’s a load of SA nostalgia. I hope you enjoy it. A Merry Christmas and a good 1978. Guy & Jean.’

BURSTING WORLD,1936-45, 300 pages, illustrations, brown simulated cloth, dust jacket frayed at the top of the spine. Signed on the title page and with a note reading, ‘Dear Browns, You enjoyed the first slice of my cabbage-of-a-life, & so it is in hope that you might get some pleasure out of this second slice….Guy.’

A LOCAL HABITATION, 1945-90, 310 pages, illustrations, brown simulated cloth, a good copy in the dust jacket. With ownership signature of ‘Brown’ on the front paste-down endpaper but not signed by Butler.
