Fantastic piece of Welz ephemera. Exhibition catalogue from 1965, from an exhibition held at Jean Welz's brother's gallery in Salzburg. Excellent, clean condition. Catalogue introduction comprises a re-print of a letter Welz wrote to his brother explaining that his paintings were “documents of his soul” and that his objective was to create “painterly poems”. A5 in size, card covers, 18 pages, numerous b/w plates. All text in German.
