Gerard Sekoto - I am an African
N Chabani Manganyi
Description:
Gerard Sekoto is without doubt one of South Africa’s major painters of the twentieth century. Manganyi’s biography is informed by the discovery, after Sekoto’s death, of a ‘suitcase of treasures’, which contained previously unknown musical compositions, letters and a large quantity of notes and writings. Photographs and full colour plates of significant and previously unpublished paintings are included. Softcover, 304 pages, colour plates and black and white illustrations. Has some minor shelf wear and signs of use, overall an excellent copy, almost new.
