Cover worn and rubbed; some creasing and fingering; archival tape repairs to some page edges; occasional pencilled annotation. Dutch text. The four preliminary chapters deal with "what preceded the Ultimatum," and the history of the political and military conflict is brought down to the signing of the Peace at Vereeniging.
