Original dust jacket. Original light brown cloth boards with a gilt title label on the spine. Light brown end papers. 376 pages, 117 line drawings, 92 photographic illustrations, 83 distribution maps, 81 colour plates by P.J. Smit. CONDITION DETAILS: The dust jacket has spine fading as well as sunning on the upper side - see image. There are a few signs of use, such as a small crease on the frontis plate, but overall a decent copy. The crease to the bottom left hand corner of the frontis is unfortunately not clearly visible in the image provided, which is of the title page plus the frontis.
