Book Condition: General wear to the boards. Corners of the boards are bumped and slightly frayed. Light foxing to the edges of the boards. Foxing through out the text block, but it is heavier to the beginning and ending pages. Binding is beautifully tight and square. Vol 1: Large stain to th top edge of the front board next to the head of the spine. Small chip to the head of the spine. There is a 0.5" x 2.5" section missing from the bottom of the front free end paper. Vol 2: Some light creasing to the title page. Overall the set is in lovely condition for its age.
