The first Roycroft Press finely printed version of this work, fully titled "So Here Then Are Dreams". 82pp. Bound in 1/4 tan suede with gilt titled label and paper covered boards. Printed by Elbert Hubbard in two colours (in the style of the Kelmscott Press) on Roycroft handmade paper and bound in paper over boards with suede spine. The initials, borders, and ornaments designed by Saint Gerome. The bottom end of the spine is chipped and there is scarring of the suede at this end about 6cms. in length. The corners are bumped and the spine label is chipped. Internally the condition is about fine and without foxing. From the prestigious Africana library of Alpheus Fuller Williams (Vergenoeg) with his bookplate on the front pastedown and stamped number on the ffep. The Roycroft Press was highly influenced by William Morris and his Kelmscott Press and their books are very much in the Kelmscott style and very appealing as such.
