3 UK Government Reports on the Miners Strike on the Rand in 1913 on the issue of the recognition of Trade Unions. The S.A. Government alarmed at the growing violence ordered out Imperial Troops to quell the violence. The centre of Jo'burg became a war zone with many killed and injured. The Reports contain explicit details of the riots, names of the killed and injured and a folding plan of the scene of the riot. Reports Nos. Cd.6941 19pp. folio; Cd.6942 27pp. folio; Cd. 7112 65pp. folio. The last being the Report of the Witwatersand Disturbances Commission, in original printed blue paper wraps
