Description:
208 pages, illustrated with colour and black & white photographs throughout, Roll of Honour, bound in grey elephant hide with heavy brass edges & the Rhodesian coat-of-arms mounted on the upper cover.
The brass edges of the upper cover are tarnished and the leather faded, the contents are bright.
Copy No. A. of an edition limited to 115 numbered copies, of which 1 to 100 are the Collector's Edition and A to O are Presentation Copies. as well as being signed by the author on the title page there is a special presentation page signed by Ian Smith, J.Z. Gumede, Bishop A.T. Muzorewa and several members of the government and heads of the armed services and police. A slip signed by the author explains that Commissioner of Police P.K. Allum did not sign the presentation page because of the changed political circumstances in 1980.
This copy is from the Library of Lt. Gen. Peter Walls (1926 - 2010), Commander of the Combined Operations Headquarters of the Military of Rhodesia from 1977 to 1980.
