Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white. An illustrated biography of one of South Africa's most respected and admired painters. Based her diaries, notebooks and inimitatble drafts to close friends and fellow artists. Tracing her career from Africa, to London and Paris and her return to South Africa in 1933. Book has some very minor shelf wear along the top and bottom edges but overall clean and bright. An excellent copy in similar dust jacket.
