Vol 1 928 pg; Vol II 975 pg. Delux Half-leather bound. Gilt title to spines and gilt listellos to half-leather/cloth joins. Marbelled edges to text-blocks. Profusely illustrated. Maps, plates and drawings. Heavy set.

Bottom half of spine cracked on both hinges of volume 2. EP's heavily toned, but internally clean and bright. Bindings ares firm. A number of the pages in both volumes appear never to have been opened as they are still stuck together.
