Dust jacket pale blue illustrated with a silver coffee pot. The jacket shows signs of wear but still quite presentable. Some small tears at the top of spine front and a little bleaching on spine. Blue linen-covered boards with publisher's design in silver on front and title on spine. Some slight darkening on front and back endpapers. Overall condition Very Good. This book is described as the most comprehensive and important contribution to the study of Cape Silver. It includes biographical information on Cape silversmiths, a record of the marks used by silversmiths and a survey of objects made from late 17th to mid-19th century.
