Demy 8vo; original blue bubbled cloth, blocked in black and gilt; pp. xx + 490; profusely illustrated with plates reproducing photographs and artwork. Spine darkened and a bit frayed at ends; corners rubbed; hinges tender; gift inscription to front free endpaper; binding a little slack; sporadic spotting and occasional light soiling.
