8 pages – 4 pages of the musical score, pictorial upper cover, the edges are frayed and the back has been simply repaired with cloth. Fair only.
Theo Wendt (1874 – 1951). In the course of a long musical career Wendt was the first conductor of the newly formed Cape Town Symphony Orchestra, a post he held from 1914 to 1924 and later he was the conductor of the SABC Symphony Orchestra. His compositions included more than fifty pieces. His march Botha’s Boys was probably the most popular of his South African compositions (Dictionary of South African Biography, volume IV, pages 769/70.)
