Guest had a few remaining copies disbound and rebound into one cloth covered volume, with the above title & a portrait of himself in 1939. The three books contained in this volume are "Vicissitudes of a Transvaal dorp," "With Lord Methuen and the First Division," and "Incidents in the Westeren Transvaal." Original red cloth. Pp. (iii),45,(3); 122,(5); 63,(1), photo-plates belonging with the second part. Covers slightly rubbed, binding a bit weak, text lightly browned. An unusual work, containing all three of Guest's books on the Anglo-Boer War in northern Cape & western Transvaal.
