part one consisting of 23 hand colored plates dated 1862 with a second title page dated 1868 by James Maclehouse Glasgow for part two with the additional 23 hand colored plates.. Bound in full green leather with gilt titles is in excellent condition except for a stain on the lower right corner. The plates are all clean with two of them that have some edge roughness.This is one of the six copies that were hand colored at the time under her supervision. One went to the Zoological society of London and this is one of the rmaining 5. Mrs. Blackburn has been compared to Gould and Audubo
