True first edition and has 256 pages. Illustrations by Howard Leigh and Martin Tyas, beautiful colour frontis plate with b/w illustrations throughout the book.
The book has a red stain on the top edge and pages are untrimmed. Top/bottom of the spine are slightly bumped with a bit of marks. Offsetting on the front/rear free endpapers, binding of the book is good.
Overall the book is in very good condition.
