A History Of The Children's Theatre In South Africa.
This is the story of the people, the plays and the players of The Children's Theatre. For twenty-two years it helped to foster in the impressionable minds of our young people a deep and lasting love of good theatre. An important phase in the development of the theatre in this country has been faithfully recorded. This record will pass into the archives of Africana, but not before its pages have been well-thumbed by many who will smile a reminiscent smile and possibly even shed a tear over labour that was not entirely in vain. 128pp., signed on the f.f.e.p. by many theatre personalities including Joan Brickhill, Mary Tilley, Barbara Westerly, Heather Macdonald-Rouse, Norman Pearson, etc... as well as an inscription from Patricia Storrar, as follows: 'For Kay Sims, Affectionately from Patricia Storrar, May 1968.'
