Description:
Book Description: 320pp. Cloth hardcover with d.w. Gilt emblem and title to front cover and spine. Numerous small maps showing routes, the text describing each junction and crossing from Tangier to Cape Town.
Book Condition. Good. Owner's name to front fixed end-paper. Numerous pencilled distances recorded on front loose end-paper. Some light foxing to eps. Binding is tight. Dw is a bit tatty on the edges.
'African Throughways' has earned the reputation of a standard authority on the trunk highways throughout the African continent and is a painstaking compilation involving the careful sifting and checking of a voluminous mass of information obtained from official sources.
The work of assembling the material has been arduous and the author's conscientious insistence on meticulous accuracy has won him the commendation of trans-African motorists.

Within South Africa (counter to counter) = R55 per 1kg parcel plus R5 per additional kg to be included in the parcel.
Approximate foreign postage = $25.00 SURFACE MAIL or $45 AIR MAIL per 1kg parcel plus half again per additional kg to be included in the parcel.
