12mo; original purple cloth, lettered in gilt on upper cover; pp. (viii) + 60. Cloth partially sunned and mottled. Very good condition. (Hackett, p. 143) The book consists of three chapters, plus appendixes. The bulk of the content is devoted to the Anglo-Boer War, and particularly to the Regiment's activities in the Orange Free State: Chapter II, pp. 15-45. Very uncommon.
