Description:

This book marked the 60th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sabi Game Reserve, the precursor of the Kruger, by the South African [Transvaal] Republic on 26 March 1898. This copy was presented to Dr A J R van Rhijn, Minister of Economic Affairs and Mining, and a two-page letter to this effect is loosely inserted in the book.

Green leatherette boards embossed in black to the front only. Patterned beige endpapers, inserted errata slip, 104 pp of text and appendix, with historical illustrations and photographs, some in colour, by the Parks Board photographer.
