An examination of the conditions of the British Boer War Concentration camps, around which much anti-British sentiment has formed. Were the British justified in their policy of concentration camps? Would it have been more humane to leave the non-combatants to their own devices? To the answering of these questions this book makes a notable contribution.

Condition: boards and contents in good condition; paper yellowed with age; binding a little tender in places. The jacket is price-clipped, with edge wear, and heavier rubbing on the rear panel, and heavier creasing along the top edge.
