Several of the photographs of are the Boer prisoners including a portrait of General and Mrs Cronje and a photograph of their home in St. Helena. The text includes an account on the imprisonment of Dinuzulu kaCetshwayo with his two uncles Ndabuko and Shingana, wives and servants on the island from 1890 to 1897.
